HIGHS
There are plenty of these vans on dealers’ lots, and they are priced to sell. |
|
LOWS
It has been far surpassed in refinement and modernity by the competition, namely Toyota and Honda. Resale is near nil. |

WHAT'S NEW

|
BEHIND THE WHEEL
The handling, acceleration, and overall performance are vanlike. Which is to say, not much fun at all. |

CAPSULE REVIEW
Although GM touts the Uplander as a crossover, any fool can see it’s a minivan with a large nose grafted on. It trails the competition in handling and drivetrain smoothness, but the cabin is much better than that of the Chevy Venture it replaced in 2005. |
